Personalized Table Centerpiece: How to make it?

It's been months since I started making table centerpieces for my son's party last September, hence, there are still queries how I made those! I really appreciate every compliment I hear from people regarding the DIY table centerpieces.
And, it's been a while since I post a new topic here in my blog, better yet, share how I made those table centerpieces. Too bad, I didn't had any of it back in our home, just photos and smiles in my online album and in my mind - how everybody loved it!

Jacob Cedric's Uber fun Party! (3rd Part)

Jacob Cedric's Uber fun Party! (1st Part)
Jacob Cedric's Uber fun Party! (2rd Part)

Since I left Prestige Tower Roofdeck to prepare for the party, I just asked Ms. Kristine (Kiko's Balloons) and Ms. Salou (Prestige Tower) to setup the Candy Station which was supposedly my project. But since I cannot do it anymore on time, I really need their help!
When I got back, I just saw a beautifully decorated/arranged Candy Station!  The DIY 3-tiered plate project was placed the way I wanted it... Also, the candies,chocolates.. and my DIY candy cups (replaced candy lootbags).

My cousin Dada with the Candy Station

Some of the guests took photos of what they got from the station.
I'm just so proud of myself and the people who helped setting up Mr. Hooper's Candy Station".

I bought assorted gummies (worms, rings, teeths), gumballs, egg-shaped chocolates, chocolate coins, mallows, chocolates, etc. Most of them were bought at Divisoria Mall (basement area). At first, I was kinda hesistant but the seller assured me that they're safe to eat and school canteens buy candies from them. Well, I think, now, it's safe to say that they are safe to use/eat in setting up a DIY Candy Station (no guests complained anything from me regarding the candies!)

Excited for the Party!

Whew! I can't believe that Jacob's party is less than 3 weeks from now. I am just wishing for 3 three things:
  • No rains,floods,typhoons or any calamities/ uncontrolled situations/incidents on Sept 11 and Sept 12
  • Our invited guests would come and ON Time
  • The Suppliers will me and/or exceed my expectation

I just love doing arts and crafts for Jacob's Party!
And now, the big day is near, I'm almost done with my Party DIYs!

Candy Station
-I always wanted sweets for the party, so, aside from the Dessert Station from My Chocolate Heaven, i decided to come up with my version of Candy Station!!

Since, it's a Kid's Party, I just bought 2 glass candy containers and will use more of colorful pail/bucket I bought from Toys R Us for a peso power of P10.00 (US$ 0.22)

Since, I love pulvorons and macaroons, and I just want to present it the way it should be without buying porcelain layers or cake layers..
I'm a Supermom/DIY Queen-wanna-be!, I come up with these ideas? Whatcha think?
I'm super loving it!

I am so thrilled!

Jacob's Sesame Street Party!!!

I wasn't really expecting it (though, I am hoping.. hehe). Mommyjazz, online contributor and Global Moderator of Smartparenting forum contacted me, that she liked the idea on goldfish and doll centerpieces for a unique/themed Sesame Street Party.

How MS Publisher saved me from spending moolahs

Eversince I became interested in arts and crafts, I look for the best way and easy to handle application for my "artsy" projects.

For my son's baptismal party, I tried using scrapblog, and really enjoyed it! They gave out free credits for designs ( wallpaper

I love SM!

When I was still studying, I look forward the day when my mom brought me to the mall and bookstore to buy what I need for the coming school year. I enjoy picking stuffs for my bag - colorful notebook designs, pens in different colors, etc.

Party DIYs

I already blogged part of this in my previous article, but i wanna share to you the details of DIYs i made for Jacob's Events..

Baptismal:
This was last 12 December 2009. I'm really a hands-on-OC-party planner-mom! Here are some i did for his baptismal rites and party..

Giveaways for Godparents:
There are 2 souvenirs/giveaways for those who attended Jacob's Baptism. One is for the guests who were invited to witness and celebrate with us.. The idea of having this party favor is really from me.. I wanted a wooden rattle and searched everyone's haven, The Divisoria..
And for the Godparents, i prepared a basket full of goodies (chocolates and mallows) with a bear, some even had balloons, others don't (I don't know what happened with others) Bought from Divisoria, and arranged by me.
Guestbook:
I prepared this and designed it using scrapblog. I printed it on a photo paper and put it in a blank scrapbook (c/o Echo Madamba)
Bad thing about this and lesson learned: I asked my mom to have it place where guests could see this and have it signed. Unfortunately, everyone missed it! Gifts where laid on top it at the entrance table and poof! No one signed it!! Arrggh... The effort of making and designing this makes me feel bad. What i did, i asked Jojo to bring it to his office and have the Godparents and guests sign it at least. Also, that's what i did with my friends. For the upcoming Jacob's party, i don't bother myself making one..
Invites:
Designed and printed by Me and Jojo
Theme: Blue and Green
2-page invites
Cake design: I gave the cake baker the design i wanted for Jacob's cake.

For Jacob's Upcoming Birthday Party, here are the DIYs i already made and just need to be printed before the event.
(Note: This were taken by my phone, the file format was unable to be recognized )
