Jacob's 1st: Swimming at Splash Mountain

Since Jacob turned One, I'm already planning and looking forward on the day he'll take his first dip into the Pool and Enjoy it.
Until now, it's a dream come true for me! We went to Splash Mountain in Los Banos - it's our nth time here :) We used to stay at their hotel when me and my husband were just boyfriend-girlfriend.  My whole family loves here - why? Lots of pool to swim and affordable for big group.
We invited our Tito Efren and Tita Mila with the kids to join us. It wasn't really a planned one. Though, me and my husband talked about it, and relayed this to my mom - she thought we were just joking! So, we ended up buying rice and grilled pork and chicken.

What make me feel good about all this "swimming thing", Jacob gets to wear his iPlay Swimpants, which iIbought last Expo Mom at Rockwell. Though it wasn't shown in the photos (underneath the Swimwear) I quite concern with the weather - he might get colds - it's windy day afterall. I don't have actual photo with me, but here's a link. Jacob has the aqua sealife design (left, bottom)

Jacob's also wore his Speedo swimwear. It's one of my cousin, Ate San's pasalubong when she got home from CA. I just love how it fits - Jacob really looks good and cool with it!

Jacob and Daddy

At first try, he got scared and cried.. But after sometime, he started to enjoy the whole thing. Even splashing water to us with his little hands!
I love the moment and will treasure it for lifetime. Here are some photos captured by me:
Cheers!

A Tiring weekend that was!!

What a Weekend! Super Duper tight schedule but Uber Fun!!
Saturday: 26 June 2010
1st Stop:
* Festival Mall, Filinvest Alabang Muntinlupa City
We arrived around before lunchtime to meet with my buyer. It was his husband who picked up the orders. Though we waited quite a while, that was fine with me - since I saw in my Jakey's eyes how he was amazed with everything he saw at the mall! - Posters, Lights, People - all of those not usually seen around our house (*wink*). Since we were just killing time, I took the chance to print Jacob's Pic for entry (SM Star Baby) at Digiprint. And they were just easy to deal with .. I got the finished photos in less than 15 minutes.
While waiting for the photos, a kiosk nearby, named Saibachi caught my attention - may be I am quite hungry so I asked Jojo to buy food and drinks. They call it takoyaki - a squiball looking food but really when i tasted it - it's so yummy! I thought it was just me who noticed it but Jojo too! So we decided to take home some of these for our consumption.

*Total Gas Station
We were supposedly meet our buyer at Festival mall parking lot, but due to some circumstances, we just changed it to Total Gas Station. Mr. Diaz (husband) was really sorry he kept me waiting. But that's ok, part of being a seller :)

*Aplaya - Grills and Greens - Festival Mall
By night, Jojo and I had schedule of meeting up my cousins Ada and AC, and Aryan. We arrived earlier, so I asked Jojo if we could drop by at Japan's Store (Dai-so) inside the Mall. Bought things for Jacob's Party decorations and for our lab.
**Gimik Night!
And since I am with Ada, we have our pictures shot everywhere!! I'll update this.
@ Aplaya:
Twas was like "There's no tomorrow!"

   - from rhumcoke (for Jojo) to Jagermeister (me and Ada) to Gilbeys for AC and Aryan, down to Mindoro Sling for everyone!! all in less than 2 hours!!!
- a memorable food Lizzy's Dynamite - a food cursed by Jojo -- haha. An appetizer, a whole chili wrapped with breadcrumbs -- who would have noticed you were eating a chili!! haha
- My cousin is so in love with his "yum" - so Happy for her
@Bona Cafe
We were supposed to be at Pagcor for casino but changed our plan, and stayed at Bona Cafe - Westgate Alabang.. It was our 2nd time there.. Fun, fun fun.. Our ealiest coffee after gimik - 11 pm!
Killed time with more stories, youtube videos, pictures and more pictures!!

So tiring Saturday, and even attended to my son's needs as soon as we got home..

Sunday:
Went to BF Resort, a belated happy Birthday to our beloved Auntie, Tita Pot.. and visited my lovable niece, Heleina. I handed her crayons, erasers and pens.. I know she loves It!
@SM Bicutan
Before heading back home (Laguna), we dropped by at SM Bicutan for jacob's submission of photos for SM Star baby. Unfortunately, he wasn't qualified haist.. Need to register first... I thought we could do this at the same time - registration and passing of requirements.. I'm quite sad, but hey, there's another quarter!
@Shakey's
Jacob loved their Creamy Mushroom Soup!! I saw my friend daisy, who worked at Shakey's as Branch Manager
- She gave 20% discount - thank you!

Familia Zaragosa 2nd Gen: Tagaytay Getaway

It's been months since we, the Familia Zaragosa had some fun time to together -- beers, cigarettes and laughters altogether.. I'm missin the times when we all gather and spend Sundays together-- may it be at the mall, house or parks..
I chanced upon our photos from the last Beer Getaway/Gimik/Tambay we had, and thought of sharing this to the world. I'm just so proud that from 7 original members (Ate San, Ate Awi, Ada Marie, Claue, AC, Jojo and Me), another has been added! Jeffrey- The first gimik he had with us! Welcome kiddo!

This Tagaytay getaway was the perfect "The Repeat" Alak-Yosi-Chika of Laiya BF Homes Gimik years ago.

Moments to Remember:
Date: 27 December 2009
Place: Knuckles Bar (formerly Cafe Lupe) Tagaytay City
          Starbucks Tagaytay Branch
 Time: 8pm-4am
Pick up-Destination-Drop off: Taguig-Gatchalian-BF Resort-Dasma-Tagaytay and vice versa

1) Catch up chikas!
- the last time we had this - i'm still single haha
- AC was still studying
- Sis Dada's Revelation (note: secrets)
- Ate San is still single
- Ate Awie as Dra. Holmes (haha)
- Mushi is late!
- Jojo is the official tagahatid-sundo and with former employer
- Jepoy is still a kid!!

2) Beers, Yosi and More!
On our way to the bar, Jepoy, being the youngest in the group commented "Hindi ko akalain nagyoyosi pla kayo!" And everyone laughed.. This is the biggest secret of the group - We're not allowed to smoke!
Moment caught on Cam: Lagot ka Ate San!! haha

The Drinks

and the tipsy Jepoy! Ayaw papigil sa alak! haha..
3) Mushi's Crying Moment
Lagot ka AC!! Well, t'was the first we saw Claue really cried - as in alot!! We're all clueless why, tsk tsk tsk AC! Ate Awie brought it up pa kc eh hehe.. But after the night ends, everything was settle- Whew!!
Lesson learned: don't let Ate Awie talk when she's drinking too much... Calling Dra. Holmes! Haha

4) Starbucks Tambay
It's a routine for us to do, that after some beers and yosi, Starbucks is the next! Good thing for us Jojo gave us GCs to spend! Muahh..
- The season where Starbucks give Planners for 2010! Nagaawayan pa kanino mapupunta ung stickers and planner! haha
- Jepoy made permission (to Ate san) if he could have a henna tattoo! Hello Galera?Boracay?! haha... he's still a kid -- yaan nio na! haha
- Not stop kwento - same topic - same people - more infos haha

It's a Getaway worth keeping.. I just missed them.. Ulitin natin next year, when Ate San's here in PI...
